Welcome to paradise, You have been deployed to the Island State of Tembeian under contract by the Legitimate local government who has been under the rule of a Russian backed Rebel force for some time, your missions on this island will be included but are not exclusive to, FOB capture, Assassination, Convoy Destruction, Asset Destruction, Counterintelligence and Intelligence Gathering, We are not here to be a holding force and the island base we are currently Manning has been given to us by the local government to be used as a base of operations in the region. Each successful mission that is completed will upgrade our B.O.O. and allow us to bring more assets into the region, maybe even expand onto the island.

With your first operation, we will be providing your kits and equipment, but future ops will require you to spend your GMP ( Gross Military Product) which you will earn from operations, Everything cost GMP, so if you lose assets it will cost you, recovering bodies will help remove some cost (Recovery costs ), side objectives will add to your funds, and destruction can come at costs.

Morning all, we have been given a contract by a cutout from the CIA, we are to meet with their informant and find the location of the VIP, and Remove him from play, how we do this is up to us, but we can not let him get away as it will affect future contracts for us.

Post mission purchases

Some other debrief notes from Friday’s mission:
Having a dedicated FAC helped tremendously, and, I believe, Bird enjoyed managing the acquisition of assets to pad our budget with.
In the future, this could be combined with a security detail for my sanity. I only have so many eyes in the back of my head, but it worked out well anyhow.

We took too long on loadouts. Considering how little we had to work with (get loadout script, 5.56 across the board, minimal other equipment) there were a lot of people at the arsenal even during the briefing. Self-reflect as to what caused that and see what will make it faster. Is it TL’s not being clear as to what roles are needed? Misunderstanding the role-play-oriented restrictions? Or do we just need more time to chat in-game about things (we could have between mission activities… like an always available zeus server even without an active zeus.)

We ran with 2 TL’s and a FAC… no SL. We did very well, but we should have had an SL. I can only blame myself here, but we need more people to step up as TL… don’t let it be a stressful job and you can enjoy it as much as… not fooling anyone? :slight_smile: Seriously though, it’s not as bad as most people make it out to be and it only gets better as you start to become more familiar with your team and they become more familiar with you. There can be many right ways to do things, find yours. You step up and I have nowhere to go but up… There’s my fresh excuse for the month.

We did way better on medical this time. Casualties were handled well, deal with threats, pull casualties out of danger, one person treats, one or more on security. Blue did exceptionally well at continuing to fight when we had casualties while not charging off alone. From what I saw of Green they also were tight during casualty events. The 2 masscas events were overwhelming force multipliers (40mm, rpg, bmp) meaning spread out… and the other was a building clear that ran into an RPK on LSD. Couldn’t grenade due to pow’s, not sure we even have stuns in our arsenals. We can do better, but this medical was great.

Dedicated medics need to continue to be dedicated. The more you do it the more everyone is used to you being a medic the more you are treated and protected as a medic and the more you act like a medic. You don’t enter the room first… You don’t peek at the BMP to range to target. You move away from the gunship that others are trying to like up a desperate rpg shot on.

One request from the finance department: Medics need to carry at least 1 body bag. We lose money for not bringing home the bodies of our fallen. Make sure the birds have several in them and you can resupply off them when the dead go home. If this won’t work out, then everyone will need to carry their own body bag which will be met with much whining and discussions of bergens.

Air did great, hope you enjoyed being chased around while we fiddled with Russian AA launchers. You’ll have some more interesting birds next mission.

Funds Remainning - 60, 000 GMP

Ok, a new contract has just come across my desk, it’s a simple one, but has good pay, I don’t see much that we can do to gain extra on this one, but we will need to see what we can do.

The basic objective of this one is to Retake and defend a local oil processing plant, with minimal damage, some local "Freedom " fighters have taken over the place and are holding hostages , they more that likely wont kill hostages even after the rounds start to fly, but we have a VIP who needs to say alive , something about being a son or something to the CEO , but that means nothing to us, we have sent in the intel team to find out what they can about this group and any extra targets that could come up for “Acquisition”.

I expect you all to use your new Assets wisely , they cost a bit and I don’t want to have to keep replacing them. Good Luck. And bring me a nice pay cheque.

With limited numbers due to all the AWOL Operators who went to fight on the island of Altis, we managed to do the mission, we have gained a contact to protect the Oil processing plant, and we will earn a weekly 25K GMP, Due to this, we don’t have the Operators to get any more contracts till our boys who are AWOL get back to base.

Post mission purchases

We were able to recover substantial vehicle assets along returning some stolen UN property that they were grateful for while extracting most of the POW’s listed in our contract…

It’s too bad the others were so carelessly abused by their captors and did not survive to be extracted.

Let’s work on speed of execution next time, and hopefully we’ll get a FAC next time for more smooth and efficient air operations.
